The Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at the Johannes Kepler University Linz boasts 'outstanding achievements in teaching and research'. It is not only by far the largest faculty of the Johannes Kepler University, but it is also the only faculty of its kind in Austria to offer the whole range of Social Sciences, Economics and Business subjects for study.
The current demands of globalization are met through practice-orientated, networked thinking and strengthened internationalization. The compulsory study of business languages and the incorporation of ICT-based teaching methods underline the future-orientated and internationally focused teaching within the framework of individual studies.
Numerous university continuing education programs with the most varied themes provide students with the opportunity to gain additional practice-related, academically based training in specific areas, which is of great interest to social institutions and businesses.
