The services provided by the ÖAD Office Linz to international students are:
1. General Information for incoming students, academics and guest researchers
2. Support service for Austrian Government's scholarship holders (Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ministry for Science, Education and Culture) through:
- Monthly payment of scholarships
- Completion of health insurance, refund of insurance payments
- Advice in study matters (i.e. detailed information on admission procedure, university institutes)
- Booking accommodation for ÖAD-scholarship holders, contacts to student halls of residence
- Advice and help with formalties and dealing with the authorities (i.e. arranging visas, registering with the police)
- Contacting academic supervisors
- Advice on extension of the scholarship
- Organizing social and cultural events for scholarship holders (excursions, concerts, day trips)
